There are 2 swimming pools, 1 supermarket, 2/3 restaurants and 3 bars. The Village is pedestrianised and no cars or bikes are allowed on the cobbled pathways but there is ample parking outside of the village. There is also a children's playground and spacious green area at the end of the village.
There is 24-hour patrolling in the village, all the apartments and houses are privately owned and mostly furnished to the owner's taste and have either roof terrace, a garden terraces, or both.
From the roof terraces most of the apartments have good views towards the sea, the fairways of the golf courses and the mountains of Monchique. Most apartments have satellite TV.
4-bedroom houses in Garden Square have en-suite bathroom/shower room.
