EL MIRADOR DE MIRAFLORES GOLF This brand new 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment which will accommodate 4-6 people, is situated on the first floor of a new gated complex, where the first floor can be accessed directly from the road, or by lift from the garage below the apartment block. This apartment is ideal for both family or golf holidays, and is easilly accessible for those who are not so mobile. The complex is spacious with an open aspect due to the views over one of the fairways of the Miraflores golf course, over to the hills and village of Mijas. THE APARTMENT The apartment has been tastefully decorated and has air conditioning/heating, and satellite TV with English channels and a video. There is a large terrace that can be accessed from both the lounge and the master bedroom, which has been furnished to provide a second comfortable living area, with glass top table and comfortable chairs, with sun loungers to match. There is also a double swing seat for extra seating. The lounge/diner is tastefully furnished and has a comfortable double sofa bed. The master bedroom has a very large king size bed that will convert to two single beds if requested, and there is a large bathroom ensuite. The second bedroom has twin beds, and both bedrooms have large wardrobes with hanging and draw space. There is a second bathroom next door to this bedroom. The large separate kitchen has a full size hob, oven and grill, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. This kitchen is fully equipped as if you were at home, ideal for eating in if you want to. All towels and linen are provided, and these are changed in the middle of the holiday for a two week stay. Guests are met when they arrive by our managers who live on the site for the handover of the key and to show you the aparment. They are also available to assist in matters concerning the aparment if there is a problem, you are not on your own. BARS, RESTAURANTS AND SHOPS Only a short distance away is the new Terraza Del Golf commercial centre, which contains a small supermarket, newsagent, cash point and several restaurants overlooking the Miraflores golf course. At the entrance to Riviera Del Sol there are shops and restaurants including a new large supermarket. Try Max's Bar overlooking the beach, great for lunch or a special evening meal. Calahonda is a short 5 minute drive from the apartment, here you will find 'El Zoco' with its numberous shops and restaurants, most with an outside eating area around a picturesque square in the centre of the complex.'The Strip' also provides many more places to eat including Indian, Chinese, Mexican and Italian. There are also more shops and 2 supermarkets on the other side of Calahonda, plus a large LIDL. BEACHES There are many great beaches to explore along the immediate coast line. Local beaches include Playa Miraflores, Cala De Mijas and Cabopino. Puerto Cabopino (5 minutes drive) is a mini version of Puerto Banus, and has very nice restaurants all around the harbour. Try Alberts- highly recommended. The large sandy beach at Cabopino is surrounded by beach bars and facilities for all thefamily. OUT AND ABOUT There are so many places to visit both West and East along the coast, plus North to the white villages (i.e. Mijas) and up into the mountains, that a car is a real asset. We can provide you with information on the cheapest place to hire a car on the web, suitable for families or golfers. For those who do not wish to drive, taxi's at a set rate are available at the airport, and there is a taxi rank at the entrance to Riviera, who you can telephone to pick you up from the apartment. If you wish to play golf, again we can provide you with the best way to pre-book your golf at reduced rates, to ensure you play when and where you like. WHY VISIT THE COSTA DEL SOL, ANYTIME OF THE YEAR The south of Spain has over 300 days of sunshine a year, even in December and January we have had temperatures of 22-24C, although some days could be lower around 17-18C. A bit better than the UK !!! Flights to Malaga are only around 2hrs 20 mins from most UK airports and are now at the cheapest that they have ever been with the low cost carriers.Arranging your own break can work out a lot cheaper, with quality accommodation.
